Recently, the steel-cutting ceremony for the new energy passenger ship was grandly held at Aulong Shipbuilding. Leaders and guests from Zhuhai Transportation Holding Group, Blue SeaJet Investment Holding Co., Ltd., Wuhan Yangtze River Ship Design Institute, and Aulong gathered together to witness this milestone moment in the field of green shipping.
As an important measure for the deepening of the marine tourism sector layout by Zhuhai Transportation Holding Group, this vessel is a model project of Aulong and Zhuhai Transportation Holding Group jointly practicing the "dual carbon" strategy. It will promote the improvement of Zhuhai's comprehensive transportation pattern of "sea, land, air and rail", and contribute to the development of green shipping in the Greater Bay Area. Wang Guangrong, the general manager of Aulong, promised that the company will adhere to the concept of "customer-centered", ensure the delivery of high-quality vessels on schedule, and strive to make this vessel a benchmark of "zero-carbon cultural tourism" in the Greater Bay Area. Feng Jian, the deputy general manager of Zhuhai Blue SeaJet, expressed high expectations for the project, looking forward to its injection of new vitality into the cultural tourism industry in the bay area.
This vessel is the first pure electric passenger ship in Zhuhai that has been classed by CCS. It was specially designed by Aulong for Zhuhai Blue SeaJet. The total length of the vessel is approximately 50 meters, with a beam of 13.5 meters. The designed speed is 11 knots, and it can accommodate 398 passengers. It combines efficient performance with environmental protection concepts. Its design innovatively integrates the lotus shape and elements of Macao culture. The streamlined hull symbolizes the profound friendship between Zhuhai and Macao through "one water connection". During night navigation, the ship's lighting system will transform into a dazzling "moving landscape", adding a unique charm of the fusion of technology and art to the Zhuhai-Macao island tour route.
